It helps develop individuals, improve organizational performance, and promote effective business planning. Performance appraisal is usually conducted annually for all organization’s staff. Each member is appraised by his/her line manager. Annual performance appraisal enables management, setting standards and objectives, and establishes individual training needs analysis and planning.
